I am all cuddled up in a cosy blanket near a radiator. My bedroom is reorganized and cleaned, my body is detoxed (‘drinking more water’ counts as detoxing, right?) and my studying sessions (hello January exams!) are planned . Long story short: 2017 is here and I couldn’t be more ready. However, I am sad that the Holidays are over. I already miss strolling through Christmassy-decorated streets, picking out the perfect gifts for everyone, including myself :). Just like last year and the year before, I spent Christmas eve at Kasper’s grandparents’ house. and just like all previous years, there were tons of presents. I remember that on my first Christmas eve there, I was just absolutely amazed, yet a little shocked at the sight of the mountain of presents and I immediately knew: “This family OWNS Christmas!” Continue reading
Kerst is alweer voorbij! Ongelofelijk hoe de tijd vliegt! Ik had de kerstperiode van vorig jaar nog maar net afgesloten, of ik kon al weer versiering gaan ophangen. Dit jaar was mijn tweede kerst met Kasper, en ik kan met volle overtuiging zeggen dat Kerst met hem véél leuker is dan zonder. Net als vorig jaar gingen we op kerstavond naar zijn grootouders, waar we dan na wat lekker eten de pakjes openmaakten, en dat waren er veel!
Christmas has come and gone again. I can’t believe how fast time flies! I had just taken my mind off last year’s christmas eve, when I had to start hanging up decorations for this year again. This was my second Christmas with Kasper and I can honestly say that Christmas with him is a thousand times better than without him. Just like last year, we went to his grandparents’ house, where, after a delicious dinner, we opened the presents!
